It seems it’s that time of year again.

At least 180 people are dead and more than 160 missing after a tropical storm devastated the southern Philippines, unleashing flash flooding and setting off landslides.

Most of the deaths from tropical storm Tembin were in the hard-hit provinces of Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur and on the Zamboanga Peninsula, according to an initial government report on storm casualties.

Once again, the Philippines has been hit by a devastating tropical storm leaving over 100 people dead and many missing.

It breaks my heart to think of the terror and hardship people suffer in times like this. I have many friends from the Philippines;
my prayers go out to anyone who has been affected by this storm.
